Yep, I do like shipper fics myself, even impossible pairings. I just wish any other stuff would get at least ten per cent of the attention...
But in the end, it is like this: either you have a specific gene to draw attention, in the hobby-writing as well as in RL, or you have not, and in the latter case, no amount of effort would help. Bad luck, I guess.
