Posted the Info chapter and the Prologue to [livejournal.com profile] hiddenrealms. We'll see what the people of [livejournal.com profile] welovezelenka say to it. Not that I'd really hope to get much feedback for it. A funny little fragment is one thing - Moments of Joy, on the other hand, will be a serious project. Plus it isn't a shipper fic, so it won't really stand a chance, I guess. But that's nothing new.

Decided to use [livejournal.com profile] hiddenrealms as a place to put up my sci-fi and horror stuff that isn't in any public archive yet. It'll take decades to translate my original fantasy monstrosity from Hungarian, so I can put that available space to good use until then.

In the personal relationships area, I'm back to the not caring part. It's easier so. There are exceptions, of course. But only on a mutual basis.

Good luck with the new post! Alas, shipper fic does seem to dominate the realm, no matter what universe. Not that I mind reading well-written relationship-oriented fics, or even well-written PWP smut. But surely, any good book, TV show or movie character has more possibilities than just LURV and HOTSEX? Sigh... good thing you and some other fine authors I know are out there fighting the good fight! (Me? I'm continuing to scheme on my crossover to end all crossovers chapter of the Sue to end all Sues... no artistically redeeming content there, I assure you!)

I am delighted to hear you are posting your original fic at last, even if I can't read it yet! Perhaps I will finally reach a point in your language where you can begin assigning me readings and translation practice from it, eh?

As for personal relationships, I've just realized I forgot to mark my third anniversary with Edhellond back in December. That must mean you and I have been corresponding for well-nigh 4 years now? Time flies when having fun! Egészségére!!! (And speaking of funny cross-cultural things, why does the translation site list one possible translation of this expression as "Mud in your eyes!" I thought it just meant "Cheers!" Is this Magyar humor? {grin}

No, it really does mean "Cheers!" Shows you how much worth translation sites are. *g*

Yep, I do like shipper fics myself, even impossible pairings.
I just wish any other stuff would get at least ten per cent of the attention...

But in the end, it is like this: either you have a specific gene to draw attention, in the hobby-writing as well as in RL, or you have not, and in the latter case, no amount of effort would help. Bad luck, I guess.
