News about the creative process
Apr. 27th, 2003 10:29 amStill typing up that ungodly-long Timeline to my vampire crossover universe. I'm working with different colours to separate canon facts from my own inventions. I hope they'll stay when I turn the whole thing into a html page. MS Word can be bitchy at times.
I feel extremely guilty for not working on the translation of my Original Trek/Battlestar Galactica crossover (for further reference: The Lost Years or TLY). I've gained some interested readers over on ff.net who deserve an update, and I already have the first four (!) novel-length stories completely written and big chunks from the other 30 ones, too. If only translating wouldn't be so much more bothersome than writing in English right away. Stupid stories are written bilinguically (sp?), the dialogues in German and the rest in Hungarian. It's really hard to translate.
On a somewhat more positive note: I've just gained a few new readers for "Elvenhome"! It seems that more people are interested in a story based mainly on "The Lost Tales" than I have thought.
And since I've promised to post here all new updates: the first three chapters of my somewhat unusual story, "Pawns and Symbols", has been posted on my site (link is on the bottom of this journal). I don't believe that it would be of general interest, so I haven't posted it on ff.net. You can find it in the Tales from Middle-earth section.
