Still typing up that ungodly-long Timeline to my vampire crossover universe. I'm working with different colours to separate canon facts from my own inventions. I hope they'll stay when I turn the whole thing into a html page. MS Word can be bitchy at times.

I feel extremely guilty for not working on the translation of my Original Trek/Battlestar Galactica crossover (for further reference: The Lost Years or TLY). I've gained some interested readers over on ff.net who deserve an update, and I already have the first four (!) novel-length stories completely written and big chunks from the other 30 ones, too. If only translating wouldn't be so much more bothersome than writing in English right away. Stupid stories are written bilinguically (sp?), the dialogues in German and the rest in Hungarian. It's really hard to translate.

On a somewhat more positive note: I've just gained a few new readers for "Elvenhome"! It seems that more people are interested in a story based mainly on "The Lost Tales" than I have thought.

And since I've promised to post here all new updates: the first three chapters of my somewhat unusual story, "Pawns and Symbols", has been posted on my site (link is on the bottom of this journal). I don't believe that it would be of general interest, so I haven't posted it on ff.net. You can find it in the Tales from Middle-earth section.

It's bilingually, actually. :)

What I like about Elvenhome is the way you've managed to blend the presently established Tolkien-verse with the lore of the Lost Tales. One reason why I struggled to read that book was because it was just so... different from what I was used to.

I just browsed your site, and I can't seem to find 'Pawns and Symbols'. I did, however, stumbled across 'Emissary of the Mark'. I've always wanted to see a story involving Rhun, and I don't mind Riders of Rohan either. And this is embarassing, but when will it be up? I don't suppose it will be anytime soon? I'm looking forward to it, in any case. :)

Thanks for the spelling correction. :) English will be the death of me on one of these days.

"Pawns and Symbols" is here:

It has been posted as part of the DĂșnadan Project. Sorry that I wasn't clear enough.

"Emissary of the Mark" is a story that's been actually written (in Hungarian) for my own fantasy universe. I'm planning to make some adjustments while translating it into English, so that it'd work as a LOTR-related story. I've halfway written the first chapter that serves to tie in the story to my Tolkien-universe. I *might* be persuaded to post that fragment here, though. :)

Thank you for the link. :) And sorry for the spelling correction, you had put a question mark there, so I just decided to add it. :P

How might I persuade you to post that part of 'Emissary of the Mark'? :D

Don't be sorry - I really wanted to know how to spell that dratted word!
And I promise to post the Elfhelm fragment for you. Maybe not right away, but soon. Deal?
