Usually, it's the small annoyances that get to you. I finally got the new Norton System Works package installed on my PC - which promptly chose to freeze three - or four - times on me tonight, although it worked completely well in the afternoon. Arrrrrrgh! Plus, my private email isn't working, and the frigging Hotmail is having a bad night again - working or not, changing its mind within the minute.

Also, the Net seems to have slowed down, and apparently, the GAFF board disabled anonymous post during the weeks while I haven't visited. Damn it, and for the first time in ages, I'd have something to add.

Yeah, and school has started, too.

Good luck with all this stuff. I finally began the slow, painful process of wading through the single, huge Inbox file (text format with codes - ick!) that was my old mailbox before the Great Laptop Hiccup of 2005. Amazing how much crap I hadn't deleted. On the other hand, I've found a couple messages of yours that were fun to read over again, so it's not all bad!

Rest up and get yourself ready to be back at school. I'm wishing you some wonderful students!

(Dear Despot Diary: It seems Precioussss-boy made it back to Budapest in time to swap out the disk in her Norton purchase. Maybe he'll get the rest of the job right this time. Hoping she doesn't have any of that dratted canned fish on hand... Bru-ha-ha!!!)

Yeah, I can relate. That's why I always delete everything from my inbox, after I've saved the important messages to my HD. A crashdown can come any time, unfortunately, and then my mailbox would burst, and I won't get the new messages at all, because of it being full.
