Having a LJ

I have been thinking about having a LJ for quite some time. At first I didn't really want to do it. I was never able to keep a written journal longer than a few weeks, so why having one online?

But then I realized how much easier this makes to become more active in my different fandoms than by joining several dozen mailing lists. So here I am now.

I'm afraid I'll use this place for ramblings, too. Comes with advanced age.

So, what else to write for a first entry?

*waves* nice to see you here! I sympathize with the inability to keep a journal (same here), but this is far more interactive... it also gives you the chance to get to know some of the people on the net.
