Having a LJ

I have been thinking about having a LJ for quite some time. At first I didn't really want to do it. I was never able to keep a written journal longer than a few weeks, so why having one online?

But then I realized how much easier this makes to become more active in my different fandoms than by joining several dozen mailing lists. So here I am now.

I'm afraid I'll use this place for ramblings, too. Comes with advanced age.

So, what else to write for a first entry?

The easiest way to make this your icon is going here:

http://www.livejournal.com/uploadpic.bml, pick the option uploading "From url" and enter http://members.rott.chello.nl/k.orsel/gildor.gif (which is the address of the picture above).

Clicking proceed should have it upload, and all should be working. ;)
