Working on my new site with Kim sent me into a Kindred (vampire) sort of mood. I'm currently cleaning up old vampire stories and trying to make them compatible with each other - not always possible, as I've changed my mind several times during the last four or five years. Ah, well, it'll turn out okay in the end, I hope.

We lost members at both Memory Alpha and Gildor's Library as well as at the Newsletter. Well, people change and so do their interest. I just wish they had bothered to contribute something before they decided the groups weren't good enough for them.

I'm going to edit my friendslist, I think. Why keep people on it who never bother to answer personal messages or direct questions in LJ comments? Nobody needs to make me any favours, dammit.

Still trying to stuck to the "not caring" attitude. I'm better off like that. Less chances to get hurt/abused/betrayed, etc. But caring is a sneaky thing. It can sneak up to you, and when you realize it's there, it's already too late. I'm trying to defend my peace against it. So, I'm not entirely sure whether I'm in danger to start caring again or just pissed off because things so rarely come together.

Definitely pissed off because of the visit in the cemetary today. Got eathen by frigging gnats. My leg is full of red specks and itches like hell. Damn my sweet blood. Whenever there is a bloodsucker in a radius of twenty kilometres, it finds me. Good thing vampires aren't real, or I'd have ended up as dinner long ago. *g*

But it's not a group not being good enough kind of thing, at least not in my case.

Ick. And hope those bugbites get better soon.

I know, sweetheart. It was never really your coup of tea. You just joined for my sake, and I appreciate that very much.

Hello Soledad!

I have not been to GL for a while but I will come back after the holidays, just so you know! And then I will hopefully get it into myself to beta for you again :) *hugs*

That would assume I will be able to actually write anything in the near future, you know, and that's not bloodly likely. My Tolkien muse seems to be dead for good.

Seems to be the season for itchy skin problems. :( I hope the bug bites heal up quickly!

Yes, although things are slowly getting better. Growing noew skin is apparently an inherently itchy process!

Ouch, sorry to hear that! Over here, frigging insects finally found their way into the big city. I'm decorated with large, itchy red spots all over my body. Frigging sensitive white skin! Other people have the same bites in the size of the eye of a needle, mine are as big as a €1 coin.

Yuck! I hope the bug disappear soon. In the meantime, we can colsole ourselves while we scratch by remembering we each know a fellow sufferer. ;-)
