So, so dead
Nov. 4th, 2025 08:16 pmGod, I'm so tired! The district nurse came today at 6.30am to take samples for Mum's blood and labor test - she needed to be at the practice by 7am to take the blood of those who could walk there on their own feet. Consequently I was running on about 5 hours of sleep all day.
Since I was up anyway, I decided to do the shopping right after the nurse left. Aldi and the Auchan supermarket were on the programme today. I bought the basic necessities... and quite a lot of baking supplies, too. I'll have to make my baking list this week, so that I can start with the Christmas baking, soon. No rest for the wicked!
Mum also had a visit from the physiotherapist today, so we had to have lunch earlier than usual. At least I didn't have to cook - leftovers are a real blessing. As soon as the physiotherapist arrived I left for school; we had choir practice and I also transported some of my wares to school where Erna (our art teacher) puts them away in her classroom. I'll start taking there my jams on Thursday; they are heavy, so I'll have to make several runs.
Well, that was today, basically. My friend Eenie gave me a lift home from choir practice; she also collected me another dozen or so empty toilet rolls, so I'll have to make some more surprise boxes. Not a problem, they are made in about 30 seconds, and they're very popular among the kids.
