Today we had 28 degrees. But that's still bearable. I hope weather forecast is right about temperatures not rising above 30-31 degrees tomorrow and the day after and going down a few degrees again afterwards. Next week promises to be a bit more eventful than this one was.

At least housework was on a moderate level today. No cooking (hurrah for leftovers) and just laundry day beyond that. It was a relief. I still feel strangely drained - those high-temp days really took out a lot of me.

Nonetheless, I managed to bring up the energy for some crafting and writing. I've started on the cherry pit pillows; cut out the pieces for 4 pillowcases and nearly finished the first one. And I wrote about one page for Chapter 5 of EMV III. It's slow progress because I know I'll have to write the big fighting scene between the Klingons and the mushroom-like aliens, and that's going to be tricky. But all progress is good progress, right?

Heard a lot about those high-temp days. Graz had 34 for two weeks straight, number four told me. Number three told the same. Of course, getting older means for most that high temps are not so wanted. I'd like to have them, but won't get them :(

While we don't want them and get them all the time. Heat distribution is seriously messed up. 🥵

They are a life-saver! I hate to cook, and every day without cooking is a blessing.

Writing tends to go at the pace it wants to go. As you say, any progress is good. Thank goodness your temperatures have dropped. We're only expecting highs of twenty here.

I'm afraid it was only a temporary relief. But I take what I can get.
