It's warming up again

wiseheartToday we had 28 degrees. But that's still bearable. I hope weather forecast is right about temperatures not rising above 30-31 degrees tomorrow and the day after and going down a few degrees again afterwards. Next week promises to be a bit more eventful than this one was.
At least housework was on a moderate level today. No cooking (hurrah for leftovers) and just laundry day beyond that. It was a relief. I still feel strangely drained - those high-temp days really took out a lot of me.
Nonetheless, I managed to bring up the energy for some crafting and writing. I've started on the cherry pit pillows; cut out the pieces for 4 pillowcases and nearly finished the first one. And I wrote about one page for Chapter 5 of EMV III. It's slow progress because I know I'll have to write the big fighting scene between the Klingons and the mushroom-like aliens, and that's going to be tricky. But all progress is good progress, right?
