I've secularized my relationship with my Maker decades ago. Funnily enough, when I was young, Mum was the one grumbling about me going to church all the time. But since her big abdominal surgery she's become very devoted — out of gratitude, I think. It's okay, it gives her something to hold on, so I'm glad they broadcast Mass, since she couldn't physically go to church anymore.
