A troubled night and more cards

Let's start with the cards, that's the nicer topic. Here are cards #9-11:



Unfortunately, the colours didn't come through true. The one star on the left is actually blue and the one on the right is purple. Dratted photos always twist the colours.

Also, Mum had a bad night. She must have eaten something that didn't agree with her - presumably the pretzels I bought for breakfast were too hard - and woke up at half past four feeling hot and cold, shivering, terribly weak and all that. Fortunately, her coughing woke me, so one Aspirin+C Brausetablette took care of most symptoms, but by the time we got there it was 6am already. Later on, she still had a light stomach ache, so I gave her the usual thing that helps digestion, and now she's right as rain again, but we are both dead on our feet. Even though we both slept for over an hour in the afternoon. *sigh*

I originally planned to write a rant about one particular event at the Olympics but my brain is too tired, and I don't feel up to consulting the online dictionary for the right terms at the moment. Perhaps another time.
