Today is my 19th anniversary with LJ. The LJ team sent me a virtual gift to celebrate. I feel so appreciated. :)

Otherwise, it was a quiet day. I did a lot of crafting. The back covers of the twin quiet books are basically done; that is, the pages themselves are finished, and Eeyore now can move across his grassy patch with the help of a string. Now I'll have to stitch the covers together with the corresponding castle puzzle pages and frame them, which will be long and boring, but I hope to finish it somewhen during this week. Then I'll attack the deep sea page. Or the Velcro-heavy outline-recognition page. These two are the ones still left.

Also, Mum and I discussed the issue and decided that tomorrow I'll give choir practice a try. My friend Eenie says that there are few people attending right now; plus, the weather is good enough to leave the windows open, and besides, when we start, the children are no longer inside the school building, so... I think I'll risk it. I need to get at least a small slice of my life back before I'll go mad.

Thanks. :) There was a reason why the possibility of losing LJ saddened me greatly.

Wow! 19 years is a very long time, no wonder you were appalled at possibly losing your account!

It has been part of my life for so long, I would have missed it terribly. Even if the friendslist of the early days has almost completely changed — not because of me, I may add. People simply left. :(

Happy LJ Anniversary! You've been here a lot longer than I have.

Yes, I came in the early days, when you had to get an invitation from someone already on LJ. I never regretted joining, and each year I found some generous benefactors who would gift paid LJ time upon me, which I can't do from here, due to the lack of an international bank account.

Wow! I never knew you needed an invite in the early days. That's like when I first joined AO3.

Or DW. You needed an invite or a code or whatnot there first, too.

I think I vaguely remember I had to do that, but I've had my DW longer than my AO3 account.

Happy LJ-versary! They sent me a v-gift recently too for my 16th, I thought that was kind of cool. :)

Happy LJ anniversary. 19 years is great! Going back to choir practice sounds good — as long as people take precautions and maintain a little distance, it should be great.

I hope all goes well for you in the choir. I'm afraid my church had to cancel an Easter event because most of the choir came down with the dreaded bug.

Well, we were 10 people altogether, including the conductor and the piano player, with all windows open in a large classroom, so I'm trying to be optimistic.

A belated congratulations on your 19th anniversary! I think I've been around close to 15 years, so you beat me. It's hard to believe it's been that long, isn't it?

You've got me beat by a year. I got an 18 year gift in December. My how time flies! Luck with the choir, I know that is something you love.
