The things we take for granted

wiseheartToday our internet provider run into some technical problem, so we didn't have either television or internet connection for a good four hours. Mum was devastated, as she missed Derrick (an old German cop series), and it was an episode she never saw before. I felt like missing a limb without being able to going online on my iPad mini.
Originally, they promised to fix the problem until 9pm; I was getting slightly insane by the perspective. Fortunately, they were done by 4pm, but it was still a bad experience. Especially in these days when we don't really get to see anyone for real. Except the physiotherapist, of course.
