Well, hard to believe, I know, but I've actually managed to finish chapter 12 of "Kansas". Here:

http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1791644&chapter=12

There is a great deal of dialogue that is actually quoted from the episode, but I stated that in the A/N's, so hopefully the idiots will leave me alone this time.

Other than that, there is some Ayala-Garibaldi friendship, Chakotay almost gets cold feet on his date, and Rastenn leaves Babylon 5.

As does B'Elanna and Rastenn... which could provide the opportunity for the same kind of conversation, come to think of it.

Yeah, bat'leth against denn'bok - I wonder who would win? And since it's part of the Klingon ritual that the female throws heavy objects at the male while the latter recites love poetry to her, and, as Worf put once, "ducks a lot", Rastenn could be up against the challenge of his life. *g*

And we really do have to write that fic, don't we? I still think it needs a Minbari Mary Sue, complete with colour-changing hair - er, headbone - and magical Mary Sue powers.

I dare to disagree in this point. A Minbari-Sue must be very different from your average Sue. Maybe a priestess from the Order of Valeria, who looks all serene and simple but does have divine visions? Maybe telepathic, or empathic, too? I can't imagine a Sue with the usual stupid, fangirl traits as a Minbari.

Wait, I have it! A priestess, all holy and enigmatic, who, in her constant divine haze of mind forgets to finish the flarn! And, of course, she must say deeper and even less understandable things than Galen does on Crusade. Yep, we definitely have to write this.

*friends you back*

Perfect! That is going to be fun to write...

O yeah, a lot of fun! So, how are we going to do it? I know of people who emailed the chapters back and forth between each other for weeks before posting the finished story to ff.net.

Or, we could write the whole thing on LJ.

I think e-mail would be best, if that's okay with you. I'm not too familiar with Crusade, though - just an advance notice, in case I completely mess up canon facts...

I haven't co-written anything since an angsty Mary Sue epic when I was 17. It will be fun to write something good!

I haven't co-written anything in my whole life yet. The closest thing was when we developed some ideas for a hilarious Star Trek-TNG series with S. Duncan, who was at that time chairwoman of the Hungarian Star Trek Club.

There are not many canon facts we can mess up with Crusade, actually. The basics are on the Lurker's Guide website, while the episode synopses can be read on the epigudes.com website.

And yeah, I'm looking forward to the whole thing myself. *g*
