Now that school has ended a few days ago, I'm slowly regaining my creativity and working on my backlog.

Therefore, I've posted the first chapters of two new stories:

An Excellent Mystery is a Sherlock story - sort of - a snippet of which I've already posted here a few entries down.
It takes place in the late 1880s and features some of the tv characters in those settings, as well as original ACD characters (DI Bradstreet) and Torchwood characters in different roles, as it happened before, just because it is fun to see them do something completely different.
This story is beta read by the most generous [livejournal.com profile] lindahoyland, who still hasn't grown tired of my butchering of her mother tongue. :)

The other new story is the 3rd part of "Outtakes", titled Hell Hath No Fury".
As the previous parts, it is a Sherlock Season 3 fix-it AU, featuring Torchwood characters and taking place in the Beautiful Minds 'verse.
This story is beta read by the most helpful [livejournal.com profile] ma2d2, who appparently doesn't mind to spend her spare time on my stuff. *hugs*

If such stories are your cup of tea, please read and review. I'd ask you to send me a note of any mistakes you still may find via PM or in a comment here. It's depressing to still see a list of mistakes on the review board after they have been corrected.

Yes, I know I'm odd. But I'm old enough to be able to afford it. Thanks.

I've made some unexpected progress with the Outtakes series - for those who don't follow the various installments of "Beautiful Minds", it's a series of loosely connected AU-vignettes to Sherlock's season 3, set in the Iceman!verse, in which Tosh features instead of Mary Morstan.

Inspiration just hit like a brick wall last week, and now I'm seven pages into Outtakes 03, which is a somewhat eclectic mix of "His Last Vow", the original ACD story "Charles Augustus Milverton" and what my twisted mind comes up with. Since I hate what the Moftiss did in Series 3, especially concerning character development, I find great, evil delight in righting all the wrongs for myself. *g*

Also, the second Interlude to "Adventures" goes on steadily. Writing Wholock is fun, and I never thought I'd enjoy writing Molly Hooper, but I actually do. Well; my version of her. I've just spent an entire chapter on describing her flat, which was an interesting exercise. It's based on the actual, rather odd flat of a male friend, but full of what I consider Molly-ish things. A bit contradictional, but fun nonetheless. As this story features a version of Mary Morstan based on the lead character of "The Mistress of Spices", it's even funnier to write.

Speaking of which, I just realise that I've come up with three rather different versions of Mary, even if I don't count the part in which she's replaced by Tosh. John Watson should be thankful for the variety of wives I've given him. At least none of them is a murderer who almost killed his best friends. EVen though two of them *are* 'played' by Amanda.

Part 28 - Sherlocked of "Adventures of a Consulting Time Lord" has been posted to FF.Net and the 13th_sherlock DW community. I'm afraid it's one of those dreadful filling chapters that are necessary for the story to go on but don't tell the reader much. Basically, it's the counterpart of the previous one, this time from John's POV.
