More paper love

Since akane42me wanted to see my fancy scrapbook papers, I've googled them and uploaded the pictures to Pinterest. They can be viewed here. I chose this method because I could never reproduce the colours correctly with my iPad mini. The only item on this board I don't actually own is the "Collection" sheet block; I saved that one from Pinterest-

Today, I worked some more on the firs baby book, wrote a couple of scenes to my Blood Ties/Kindred: the Embraced/Charmed crossover and was a-hunting. Which is enough for one day, I think. I even typed up the scenes and will be posting the finished 3rd chapter here, soon, in case anyone is interested.

At least neither of us had to cook today. Leftovers are for the win! Of course, Mum decided to do some cleaning instead of resting a bit, but there are some battles I can't win. She says she needs something to do to keep in shape.

Thanks. I don't want to post it to AO3 before it's finished - I've got too many WIPs there already. But I hope when I do post it at least a few people will be interested. It isn't easy to find readers in these days. *sigh*

I actually baked today --- applauds self --- a cake (birthday) with icing. The cake mix from a box and the icing from a jar, the extent of my baking talent. That will probably be it until the next birthday.

I was fortunate to have picked up the love for baking from my Grandma. She was fabulous, and I'll never even come close (not enough patience, I guess), but she taught me a lot of things.
