The last cards for the time being

Update: All right, the new contract has been made - it "only" took me an hour and 35 minutes. On the phone. Circulation still hasn't returned to my ear, but at least everything is solved now, which is a relief. But I can't even touch the phone afterwards, although I planned to call some colleagues. I think I've developed a mild case of phone-phobia. *sigh*
Anyway, I also did something for the further development of my tennis arm - in other words, we had asparagus for lunch, with Sauce Bechamel. Yum! The rest of the day I spent glassy-eyed in front of the telly. My brain is still unable to do anything else than keep the vegetative functions running.
