Easter Monday
Apr. 13th, 2020 07:31 pmWith an unexpected Easter egg from LJ. Today, I got this:
Dear author,
we really appreciate that during this difficult time you continue to share your thoughts, creativity and ideas in your blog. We are sure that this supports and pleases your readers.
We thought about how to please you at this difficult time in gratitude for your work. Therefore, we extend your Professional package for a month.
Take care of yourself, continue to share your thoughts, joys and worries with readers and be healthy!
With love,
LJ team.
I'm certain that all of you who post a lot will get the same (or already got it). Nevertheless, I was pleased. It's always such a bother to get my paid account going - with the help of some generous people among you who took pity on me - since I don't have an international bank account and thus can't pay for it myself, although, from the purely financial side, I could do it. I just can't get the money to them. *sigh*
I also got some lovely sewing patterns from a young colleague, with whom I had a nice, long phone chat. One of three nice, long phone chats. My girls are too lazy to call themselves, but they're always happy to talk. *g*
In other news, I finished translating the prologue to "The Billion Year Voyage", did some translation for the (hopefully) paid work - I've reached the half of the book already! Yay! - and made a few little extras to the Doll House quiet book. The only thing worth watching on the telly were the re-runs of "Forged in Fire" today. I can't wait for the holiday to be over so that I'll have my usual trash again. I could watch DVD's, of course, but doing so would require actual attention, meaning that I couldn't translate or stitch or do crossword puzzles while the telly is running in the background. ;))
