Last night, before going to bed, I listened to some music from Taizé to get myself into the right spirit. I must say, it never fails.

Today I spontaneously finished the second, white Easter bunny I'd promised myself weeks ago. Granted, I haven't made all the extras to the Doll House quiet book, but I've been soo good with all that translating and stuff that I think I deserved it. Here it is:

Then I baked the Spiegeleikuchen for Easter. It's the thing in the front of the picture:

Afterwards I had a call from a colleague and exchanged e-mails with three others, so no translation was done today whatsoever. I'm still content with my achievements for today.

And frankly, I find it annoying when I have to scroll from left to right and back because the pics posted are so large that the posts themselves don't fit onto the screen. But I'm odd that way, I know. Comes with advanced age, aching joints and weakening eyes.

Thanks. I hand-painted them myself 30-some years ago, when my hands were more stable.

It truly is! Although I might replace the base with a light sponge cake next time. It is a bit heavy for my taste.

Thank you! I'm very fond of the egg tree, seeing that I've made those eggs more than 30 years ago. I treat them with great care between two Easters as I'm not sure I could do the eggs so well again. My hands aren't quite as stable as they were when I was 30 or so. Unfortunately. :(

Cute bunnies!
And huge pics should always go behind a cut, I agree. I don't like scrolling left and right, either. And it breaks the whole layout, making text go beyond the boxes ... ugh.
