1. I've finished - and typed up - Chapter 1 of "The Billion Year Voyage".

2. I've almost finished the binding of the Doll House quiet book. That is, the really gruelling part is done, I only have to fix the book spine and the clasp tomorrow. Then I can play with the extras, but that's fun, not work.

3. I've fixed the poster that kept falling off the wall, since I can't stick needles into the new, stupid wallpaper, and the double-sided tape wasn't strong enough.

Not bad for a single day, I think. Oh, and yesterday's cake is delicious, and I was contacted about the translating job (the children's book).

Not a bad day at all.
I use powerstrips for my poster though the posters still have the tendency to fall off the walls - preferably in the middle of the night!!!

I know the feeling. Today, I woke up to a strange, rushing noise I couldn't explain - until I found the poster on the floor again. ;)

Yay for finishing Chapter 1!

I am looking forward to seeing the quiet book when the binding is done. How are your fingers doing?

What did you wind up using to keep the poster up? We had good luck with some poster mounting strips for a framed map of the world poster Rick hung in his office.

I took a look at that cake. It looks so good. Love the effect of the drizzle icing.

I hope you'll get that translating job.

And the cake is very easy to make, too. I've put up the recipe in the comments, in case you're interested.

I will give it a try, maybe next week. I'm going to make some banana bread sometime soon, and then I will try that cake recipe!

Banana bread? I never heard of that. Is it difficult to make?
