I find the whole concept really good. Hopefully, it'll work out just as well. Looking forward to shiploads of award-related work, but happy. I'm glad the whole thing will happen during summer break.

Got Preciousssssesssssss from Earonn today. Am drooling over Julian McMahon in various versions. No Gil-galad version among them, alas, but there is only one of those anyway, the wonderful one Archet made for me.

Hey! I just found myself looking over that Gil-galad pic recently, as I was moving files from the old computer to the new one. It's hard to believe that was made, what, a year ago? Time certainly does fly..

And speaking of time, sorry I haven't emailed you back. I've been kind of hibernating lately, dealing with some RL things, or rather *not* dealing with some RL things Nothing major, just, well I don't think I could explain it if I tried. Heh. Just so you know, I am around, keeping an eye on my inbox and the LJ and will be more visible eventually. I'm just not sure how soon.

Sorry that you are hibernating. Those new awards will eventually have a fanart section, too; besides, we need people who can make banners, and you are one of those. You should take a look at the site and contact the Admin. It'd be fun!
