Plus some more social life. But let's go in chronological order.
Firstly, I've all but finished the right half of the dollhouse bathroom. I've to fix the towel rail and add some towels and small bottles on the shelf, but the major part is done, and I'm fairly pleased with the results, even though it's very different from my original design idea. Take a look:

Secondly, I've finished writing up the details about my Andorian characters, which means that the smaller, easier part of my background work is done. Now I can start on the Dairu, which will be a tad more complicated... to put it mildly. But, at the very least, I'm writing again! Yay!
Thirdly, since our choir practice was cancelled today due to some conflicting school projects, E (my best buddy from the primary choir) and I made a girls' day out programme... well, actually, about an hour and a half, but it was very nice. She showed me her place (it's funny, we've known each other for about ten years or more, but this month was the first that we actually visited each other; she came over to us a couple of weeks ago), then we went to the Allee shopping centre and had a coffee at one of the very nice local cafés. It was great.
On the less than joyful news, one of my favourite craft shops - and the one easiest to reach at that - will be closing forever in two weeks' time. I've gone there for supplies for a decade and a half at least, and the shop was doing really well. But it is part of a chain of craft shops, and the upper echelons decided to close two of their shops - unfortunately, this one was one of them. A real shame, it was comfortably close to the bus I use most, and their selection was really good. Ah, well...
Of course, this meant that I've spent a considerable amount of money buying up supplies, but that couldn't be helped.
