Aka the infamous felt clock, meant to help the kiddies learn the clock... the old-fashioned one, not those digital monstrosities:

Originally I didn't intend it to have such a pot belly, but the felt somehow shrank as I seamed it and I couldn't undo the effect. The numbers are a bit too large, but I must admit that I bought them ready made (for a price that caused me a tooth-ache) and the pages had already been cut out at a 18 cmx18 cm size, so that couldn't be helped, either. But I'm rather proud that I managed to make the hands work, so I'm basically content with the outcome.

In other news I've slipped both choir practices today due to my still wacky health, finished the front cover of the Doll House book (picture coming up later), did a tiny bit of translating, and we even had a couple of hours of sunshine, for the first time for a week. Yay!

No, I always sew felt by hand and use the sewing pattern as a decorative detail. As for the thimbles, yes, they proved very useful when I had to push the needle through several layers of felt, although it is a bit strange that they don't cover the fingertips. Still very practical little tools, thank you!

I'm still waiting on some fabric I ordered to be delivered to use mine. That's the thing with ordering from ebay. I just this week had to track something down to get a refund. It had been tagged as 'delivered' but when I looked into tracking it had been delivered to an address in Staten Island! That's over 200 miles away!
