A belated Christmas gift
Jan. 10th, 2020 09:33 pmFor one of the countless colleagues whose name begins with an "E". *g*
I've cut out the pieces right away when we started our sewing workshop for the fair but never came around to actually sew them. Well, they're done now.
Front view on the left, back view on the right. As always, click to enlarge.

They are really small, could fit into my hand, which makes the working out of the details a bit tricky, but I'm pleased with the outcome and E liked them a lot. Mission accomplished then, so I can focus my attention on the dratted cold I've managed to catch again.
I feel a bit under the weather, so I decided against re-reading 'The Murder at the Vicarage', since I've read that book so many times I could quote the dialogue or large chunks of the description. I went on watching "Sleeping Murder" instead, as I could do that lazing around on my bed; I was a bit drained after choir practice, TBH. It is a good thing that I also went to Lidl's, so I won't have to leave the house tomorrow at all. Yay!
Oh,
meathiel, would it be okay if I sent you the Miss Marple photo I found, or should I upload it here? Which is the easiest for you?

Date: 2020-01-10 09:49 pm (UTC)I usually prefer this colour for them:
But they're wearing Austrian/Hungarian colours and motifs, so they'll have to do. TBH, I'm getting sick and tired of always looking around twice to see who might take offence where none was meant. Political correctness is nice and good, but there could sometimes be too much of a good thing.
