Santa's socks, 4th batch

Due to the previous hectic time, Mum and I decided to stay inside for the last two days. She wandered around the flat and changed all the dollies to Christmas-themed ones, washed the clothes of the dolls (I kid you not!) and generally tried to make the place pretty for the upcoming holiday. As for me, I was sewing for two days straight. As a result, I've nearly finished the remaining Santa's socks - there are only two left.

I hope I'll be able to finish the last ones tomorrow. My fingers will thank me if they get a break. *g*

Actually, they might have. I found a notice from the postal service that I've got something from abroad, but they don't deliver anything but letters in these days. So I'll have to go to the post office on Monday, seeing that it can only be done on workdays, and see what it is. It's most likely the thimbles, unless the_wild_iris sent me something Tolkien-related for Christmas. *g* I'll tell you at once.

Hmmm... I'm afraid it wasn't the thimbles, after all. Where could they be? Speaking of which, did you get the hand-stitched card I sent you? lindahoyland got hers a few days ago, and those were the only ones I sent this year. I'm getting suspicious about postal services.

No. It hasn't arrived, yet. That is making me worry. I got a package from the Ukraine just last week that made it here in faster time. Hmmmm....
