I've decided to post a seriously toned-down version of my dark and gritty Trek story titled Mission to Daleth IV.

This is the one I usually refer to as my "Treksmut piece", only without the really smutty parts. As it is, it's still rated strong R, because of the distubing topics of semi non-com, drug abuse and sexual slavery that will be discussed during the events. For the same reason, I hid the link behind the cut tag.

I don't think that "enjoy" would be the right expression - unless we mean the enjoyment of mystery while guessing who belongs to the good guys and who to the bad ones.

Nothing to do with this particular entry, but I thought I'd let you know I just received replacement copies of your Earthsea books. I hope to get them off to you soon!

Thank you. We'll give this project one more shot - if it fails again, well, we'll have to accept that it was simply not meant to be.
But I'm grateful that you are willing to try it again.

It failed because the Hungarian Post Office apparently never told you the books had arrived, so when you (quite understandably) never picked them up, they shipped them back to me! Oh well, at least we know now that no one stole them.

I'll try to get them off to you later this week, and I'll send you another email as soon as they're in the mail.

They did what?
Well, it's also possible that post office did send me a note, but it got lost among he advertisement rubbish and my friendly neighbours didn't feel like put it into my mailbox, unlike the tax refound note. I almost missed that one, too.

Erm... what are you going to do with the second set of books now?

Funny, isn't it? They ship the books 8,000 miles back to the United States (at their own expense) because they're too disorganized to send another 2-cent pickup notice halfway across town to the package's intended recipient.

As for the second set of books - assuming the first set survived the shipping process more-or-less intact (which is indeed quite an assumption given the state of the box), I'll either return the second set to Amazon.com or donate them to the local library - unless you want TWO sets of Earthsea books, in which case you're welcome to have them!

Thank you, but one set of books would do just nicely. And the post people are truly idiots.
