The best laid plans of Elves and men...

Well, the plan was to do some translating first, then make some headway with the Christmas elves I'm making for the charity fair, and then make the basic design for the Advent desk decoration for my young colleague A.

Instead, I started with finishing the memory game I've started last night. It turned out rather pretty - but see for yourselves:



Then I started with the Christmas elves. They were supposed to look like these:



Just a lot bigger. That's how it started. Then I added this little detail and that little detail and suddenly it was 7 pm and I've made the entirety of two bodies. Granted, they look really neat, with their collars looking as if they were brocade and all that, but this also means that I haven't managed to do anything else. *sigh*

It is fortunate that Mum volunteered to cook today. Wiener Schnitzel! Yum!

It does, doesn't it? I hope I'll be able to seal the individual pieces in plastic, so that they'd last a little longer, and I still have to make a fancy box for them, but other than that I'm well pleased.
