Pre-Christmas time is exhausting

And I haven't even started baking yet! But there are the craft projects, the choir activity (the Oldies have a very busy schedule), and my (former) colleagues have just invited me to a sewing group that will meet on Monday afternoons.

It is a temporary thing, as they are making things for the charity fair, which will take place in the second week of december; one of the parents gifted lots of pretty fabric upon them, and they intend to put it to good use. I'm sure it will be fun, I like the girls a lot; I just don't like to go out of the house in darkness and rain, and they start at 16:30. That's already pretty dark, and it will be raining all Monday. And all Tuesday, apparently. I wonder how long the balcony will be able to resist this time. *sigh*

Today's tiny craft task was to cut out some furniture for the doll house quiet book. Plus I made outfits for the dolls themselves. Only three, because the things are frigging small, but I'm content with the results.

Yep, it is always a hectic time, due to the charity fair, the necessity of making Christmas gifts and the pre-Christmas baking insanity that usually breaks out around the end of November.

It is a very unpleasant thing indeed. Especially if I don't get a lift home.
