Being crafty

wiseheartOriginally, I only wanted to cut out the card bases for the rest of the paper tissue cards. Which I did. It was a godawful task with the heavy cardboard, so every sane person would have stopped there, right? Of course, I'm not a sane person when it comes to crafting.
When I was done, I saw all those nice pieces of cut-off cardboard and I decided that throwing them away would be a waste. So I decided to make bookmarks and gift tags, using up some of my other paper rests, including a set of cardboard stars I got for last Christmas. At this point things got out of control, and I never came to finishing the original cards what had been the plan.
The results:
Pretty, ain't they? I'm well pleased with them. Of course, this means I'll have to finish the actual cards and the styropor snowmen I've promised someone tomorrow. Since the day after![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
picowrimo starts, and I'll want to do as little crafting as possible, to get some long overdue writing done.
