Originally, I only wanted to cut out the card bases for the rest of the paper tissue cards. Which I did. It was a godawful task with the heavy cardboard, so every sane person would have stopped there, right? Of course, I'm not a sane person when it comes to crafting.

When I was done, I saw all those nice pieces of cut-off cardboard and I decided that throwing them away would be a waste. So I decided to make bookmarks and gift tags, using up some of my other paper rests, including a set of cardboard stars I got for last Christmas. At this point things got out of control, and I never came to finishing the original cards what had been the plan.

Pretty, ain't they? I'm well pleased with them. Of course, this means I'll have to finish the actual cards and the styropor snowmen I've promised someone tomorrow. Since the day after [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo starts, and I'll want to do as little crafting as possible, to get some long overdue writing done.
