But an efficient one nonetheless. In the morning, I've made several more cards using Christmas paper tissues; there will be some 20 or so when I'm done. So far, only 5 of them are complete, 10 more half-done and the last 5 in the planning phase. I've selected the pattern and the cardboard for them, but that's all.

I've also selected the different sort of cardboard for the card bases and draw them up, with windows and all. Tomorrow will be the time for the delicate task of cutting them out without ruining them (as you know, cutting straight is not something I'm good it), and then putting the half-finished ones together. I want to be done with the whole project before [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo starts, which will be a sportive achievement, as the Germans would say.

Speaking of writing, I've finally typed up the long-written next chapter to this story, and posted it to AO3. It is the third episode of my Original Trek/Original Galactica crossover series - some kind of virtual Season 4 for TOS. I hope the few readers who used to follow it haven't completely forgotten about it. This is my favourite not-quite-AU x-over series, and the oldest one.

The story is actually written, but in Hungarian and German, and translating is several magnitudes worse than writing directly in English. I think I might have to make it my [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo project - again - to make some decent headway.

Other than that, I cooked lunch - the second half of the outrageously expensive zander from last time, with boiled parsley potatoes and a cucumber and tomato salad - and this was about all I've produced today. Plus some crossword puzzles and watching some telly.

Thank you, my friend, I'll keep that in mind. Although what I'd need right now would be someone like Donna Noble: a temp who can type fast and well. And one of those universal translators from Starfleet. Aside from this one, there's another fully written story waiting to be translated into English. *sigh*
