I've actually finished Theo's quiet book today! It took me all day to do the binding, and my fingertips hurt like a b*tch - well, like several b*tches, as one doesn't sew with just one finger - and the poor thing is crooked and bent in more places than I can count, but at least it is done. There'll be a pic tomorrow when the light conditions are right for my little iPad.

It was an interesting learning experience, figuring out as I was going how to do things and how not to do them. I hope that the second one - the Doll House for Léna - will be less painful. I'll need to start on that one soon, as I don't want to do much crafting during November. [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo is coming up, and I want to finally concentrate on my writing; something that's been long overdue.

Yay, success. You must be relieved, or at least your fingers are!

Hurrah and congratulations! That was quite a project. Theo is one lucky (and sure to be happy) little boy :0)

I expect him to be happy, after the pains I 've gone with his book. ;))

At least you have the mechanics of creating the project sorted out. The next one will be easier.

God, I hope so! I only have these ten fingers, only three of them I actually use for sewing. I have to see that they last a while yet!

Thanks. I hope to avoid with the next one some of the mistakes that made my life miserable with this one. ;)

My fingertips hurt for days afterwards, and that's the honest truth. *g*
