Another page managed. *phew* It was a hard piece of work - saving on Velcro by hand isn't the fun it is said to be.

Anyway, this is the original. Quite impressive, I'd say. Mine is different, because I didn't want to make another page with sliding activity, like the Octopus one. So I made a tortoise puzzle instead. Same design, different activity.

This is what it looks like when complete:

And this is to show how the various parts can be removed:

The head, tail and legs aren't fixed, so you can wiggle them, just a little bit. :)

No, it is for a four-year-old, who's already in kindergarten.

Ohhhh... I remember when my daughter was about three she would make a game of swallowing small things. She'd look you right in the eye and as you said "Noooo! Don't you DO it!!" would slowly and dramatically put it in her mouth and swallow it before you could cover the distance between us to try to grab it from her hand. She was a handful even then. Mommy's "favorite little monster". lol

That must have been nerve-wrecking. Fortunately, Theo hasn't shown such tendencies... yet.

My daughter has always been a hambone. To her it was just a game and of course punishment was so mild I'm not surprised it didn't help. THB I miss those days. As a young adult she worries me an exponential amount more :P

There is a saying in Hungarian: Little kids - little concerns, big kids - big concerns. It loses a lot in translation, but I think you know what it means.
