This one was a real killer on the fingertips, but I'm very happy with the outcome.

This is the original tutorial video by Sviatlana Babylina.

And this is my version. Original photo first, then the edited version.

I don't know which one is better, there aren't really obvious differences. BTW, my page can do everything the original can: feed the fish, lace through the octopus's tentacles, flap with the fish tail or the small squid's limbs and so on.

Still no writing that would be worth mentioning. :((

Thank you. :) It cost me three whole days to finish it, so I'm really glad it turned out so well. Had to redo the whole set of suction pods; the small buttons I tried to use at first proved not to be small enough in the end.

It was mind boggling watching the machine sewing, I cannot imagine stitching it all by hand! The whole page is awesome, such a great gift for a child :0)

It is a slow process. I stitched away on the octopus alone for three days! I did an entire page in two today and yesterday... but the apple tree is a really easy pattern. Unless I forget to sew on certain small parts before I'd fix the larger ones with double-sided tape. Stitching through several layers of felt and one layer of tape is brutal.

Actually, I've just followed the tutorial step by step. Except when I didn't have the tools or materials showed in the video; that's where creativity usually starts. *g*
