Aka Little Mermaid 3. Originally I planned to wait for Number 4, but that can take time yet, so I decided to take the photo and share it. This one is about 40% smaller than the other two, made of felt rests I didn't want to throw out. Tried the necklace trick to camouflage the neck swelling... still not the ideal solution, but better than before, I think.

The next one is going to have almost orange hair and a star-patterned grey fishtail. I wonder how it will turn out.

Better than without in any case. I'll try to place the next one more strategically. *g*

Thank you! Interested in one? Or are you afraid the Ginger Boys would mistake it for a fish and ate it? ;))

I hang things out of the way of the ginger boys. I love all your felt things but I think my favourite is the Nativity one.

Errr... I'm not sure what you mean. I never made a felt Nativity scene, just individual figures of Mary and the Three Wise Men from the East.

You can have Mary if you want her. :)

Duly noted. Shall I send her right away or do you want to save her for Christmas? :))

She's beautiful. You are your own worst critic, but maybe that's a good thing. If we don't make "mistakes" it's because we aren't taking chances to learn something new!

Yeah, I know. It's just so that I always have a certain image in my head what the things should look like, and if the results don't fit, I'm disappointed.

I love your little people and, honestly, I don't think anyone else would notice the neck. I'm a 'maker' myself and would not have noticed. I've often found, when making stuff, that things that stand out for me do not even register with others. She is so sweet.

Thanks. I know you're right, Mum says the same thing every time I whine about the results. They just often don't fit the mental image I had about them.

I think your mermaid is precious! As to the neck, what is wrong with it? I appears 3d, like a neck should???

A bit more 3D than it should, IMO. The poor things look as if they were having goitres, all of them. *g*
