A wonderful day out!
Jul. 15th, 2019 08:59 pmWe finally got the chance to go and see Baby Emma, and she is indeed every bit as sweet in life as on the photos. She's also a huge baby, about 5000 grams at 2.3 weeks and an earnest feeder. As my goddaughter (her mum) says, she lives for three things: to eat, to sleep and to make her nappy full. Other than that, she's a really calm, patient baby, unlike her brother was, and the parents even get a few hours of undisturbed sleep every night.
The Raffello bouquet:

and the baby journal:

were a raging success, my goddaughter literally cried when she saw them. I love making things for people who appreciate the effort!
We also had midday meal with them. H. (her mum, who's the wife of my cousin) cooked an old family recipe: estragon soup with chicken paprikas, and made an interesting Kuchen: chocolate sponge cake with Griesbrei on top. It was yummy! We spent most of the day with them, Mum enjoyed herself greatly, and so did I, honestly.
