... at least not entirely. But with all the packing stuff and the heat and little sleep, I'm getting there. Apologies for the lack of comments. I'm just so frigging tired.

I bought the new wallpaper today, so that's at least some progress. And I've packed literally hundreds of DVDs and videotapes and audio tapes into large paper bags and stored them in the living room, as the two small rooms will be done first. It took me 4 frigging days, and I'll only start clearing out my desk tomorrow. It's a large desk, with lots of paper in it, basically notebooks with stories in various degrees of completition. Who knows, I might even find some forgotten stuff.

Keeping my fingers crossed that you will at least make some nice discoveries to recompense you for all that hard work. I feel you on the heat and little sleep, it really is a pain.

It is! Just tonight I finally gave in and ordered a fan. Ordered online cuz the electronics store in town doesn't have any and even if you pre-order, it will take weeks. So I'm risking DHL again. Last week they failed to deliver my parcels *twice*, just noted them as nobody home and stored them. I wouldn't mind picking up my parcels except with the post office very out of the way from my part of town, that trip cost me two hours last week. I don't want to do that with a huge package. But I gotta take the risk.

New wallpaper? Something like this? A restrained and subtle little number I discovered while browsing for wall paper myself.

As tempting as it is, I'm afraid my wallpaper is a simple, textured white one. I use it to pin up my Middle-earth posters and maps, not to mention Christmas and Easter felts during those times, so I need a neutral background.

I'm afraid taking it easy isn't an option right now, but I'll do my best to survive.

I'm definitely dreading having to do anything like this here in my house ... ugh ... so much stuff!
I hope the renovations go quickly.

Not bloody likely, what with we needing a week or two between two rounds to put things back to their places and clear out the next place...

I told Mum that this was the last time within my lifetime that I'm doing something like this. I don't care if I drown in dirt and rubbish when I reach her age, there won't be any more renovations.

I'm tired just reading about all the work you've been up to. Gosh.
The end result is going to make all the pain go away. Sooner or later... *g*

One of my projects is to empty out my desk and sort through it all. Eeek.

Yeah, desks can be evil that way. I'm fairly sure mine has a miniature black hole inside it, that just spits out stuff at irregular intervals. It's simply impossible that all those exercise books, notes, stationery and writing utensils fit inside.

Or perhaps it is a TARDIS in disguise.

Just cleaning out one small room has my whole house a wreck, I can only imagine what you are going through re-doing all of your apartment! The only thing worse is packing and moving, but at least that is a shorter duration. Best of luck and hope it goes smoother from now on.

Thank you. It is really tiring. And takes forever. What made Mum think that I've retired only to be able to work more is beyond me.
