My retirement papers have just arrived. I'm officially a retiree now!

Granted, I still have to run my circles with the German Rentenversicherung, but I only worked in Germany for 2 years, so the difference will be minimal.

Goodness, I am so relieved I could cry!

Well, I won't break open any champagne bottles until I actually start getting the money - it's a month overdue! But that is bureaucracy for you. *sigh*
