I've finished the double page with the waterfall card - well, the other side of it, that is. I'm quite pleased with the results. On the left: the original picture. On the right: the doctored one. *g*



I also tried a new recipe from my trusted book "Backvergnügen wie noch nie". It is a Mokka cake, with hazelnuts, coffee, chocolate chunks and cinnamon - very yummy.






I've also uploaded it to my Pinterest board "Kuchenrezepte" under "Torten".

Oh, and I went to choir practice, too, so it was an active day.

From the way it looks I think we actually do own that baking book .... I'll have to check when I'm at home.

It is a rather old one; the first edition is from some 30+ years ago, and that was the better one. Mine is somewhat younger; in mine they took out a few very interesting recipes, like a particular kind of cheesecake and French brioches, and added pizzas and picante snacks and pralines - none of which would really interest me. I was very angry about that.

The baby book is coming out really nice, all sorts of little surprises.
