I'm not going to indulge in the same baking orgy as at Christmas, but I want to bake at least some cookies - for us as well as for a few selected (and beloved) colleagues. So, planned are the ones beyond:

Little lambs with white chocolate icing:

Nutella bunnies:

"Boiled egg" cookies, with jam filling:

Coconut lambs:

And perhaps, but not certainly, lemon and/or orange chickens and eggs:

This is the plan, conceived on the basis that I need to use up some ingredients before they'd go bad. How much of it will become reality? We'll see, especially if the big flat renovations strikes before Easter. I hope I'll be able to bake at least some of them, and that they'll turn out prettier than on these photos that were taken when I made the cookies for the first time, each.

Really? I make them each year and have quite the collection of excellent recipes. I'll try to hunt them down again and add them to our shared Pinterest board.

I've just uploaded all the recipes I've tried to the Kuchenrezepte board, in the Kleingebäck section, if you want to take a look. Sometimes the pictures aren't the same as mine, since a lot of people keep uploading their versions, but the dough is, and that's what counts.

You're welcome. :) I still owe you for the wonderful Christmas card. Alas, I haven't managed the Christmas routine, which is why I'm doing the Easter one this year.

Oh, believe me, I know the feeling! I'm in the same shoes with my goddaughter's baby journal and all the other stuff that's coming up in-between. There was a reason why I didn't get around to make Christmas cards!

At least I can post pictures about my baby journal progress and people seem to like them. A lot more success and satisfaction than my writing which is mainly ignored - save for the idiot nitpickers. :(

I've seen the baby journal pics, they seem to be coming along really well. Sorry I haven't been commenting, but I've been dealing with a lot of shoulder and neck pain, which typing aggravates, so I've been restricting my typing to fic writing and answering emails. Even then I have to keep stopping.

It's harsh when the longest reviews we seem to get these days are from people finding fault where there isn't any.

Thanks. I think I'm improving, but the damp weather and cold winds have not been helping. I know I have arthritis basically everywhere, but I did not need this. For a week or so I couldn't even sit comfortably.

I particularly like the first lot of little lambs.

I have some nice spring/Easter cookie cutters - you have inspired me to make biscuits :)

I love making biscuits, and I'm the proud owner of an ungodly amount of cookie cutters, too. *g*
These recipes are very easy; I usually pick them from the chefkoch.de website, and I chose from the lowest difficulty degree.

Those look delicious!

I had big plans to make Christmas cookies this past season and bought the ingredients, but got busy and never got around to it. I hope your Easter baking project is more successful!

Oh, I'm usually very stubborn when it comes to baking! It also makes giving gifts easier - people simply get a small collection of cookies and are happy with them. *g*

They are very yummy indeed. The little lambs are actually very easy to make. You simply cut two circles out of the same biscuit dough, put the smaller one onto the larger one, add chocolate chips for eyes and sliced almonds for ears and bake them. When they're done, you decorate them with melted white chocolate or icing. And that's basically it.

Hey, Sammy, welcome back! I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick! Are you getting better now that you've been released from the hospital?

Look at the pinned post: I'm offering hand-stitched Easter cards to my friends and still have a few to give away. Drop a comment if you'd like one. *hugs*

I will look at your post. I was diagnosed with a couple of things, the walking phemoneia is getting better - I am able to breathe again, so that's good. But I was also diagnosed with breast cancer, so that is going to take time. My doctor said I responded well to my first chemo treatment. Although I have lost most of my hair, so I have cut it all off.

I'm so, so sorry to hear about that! But let's hope that they've caught it in time and will be able to heal you again. I'll have Mum add you to her praying list, it seems to work fairly well for the ones on it. *hugs*
