Sickness, sickness

Got another week of sick leave. Not that I mind - I still feel like shit. But it's strange. I was trying to figure out when was the last time I had two weeks of sick leave in a row and it turned out - there wasn't. I was never been sick for two full weeks before... well, not since I started working.

Strange. It seems I'm getting old. My throat is better now, the vocal cords start working again, but the dratted cough won't go away. It wakes me every night in every 2-3 hours. It's annoying.

I feel like I'm back to childhood when I had bronchitis every year from October to April. Well, at least I don't have to go to school and scream at the little trolls.

Well, sometimes bed rest is the only thing for it, and some peace and quiet away from the normal stress of one's life. At least you're getting a mini-break from work, even if you're not able to spend it in a more rewarding fashion. Personally, I'd be reading fanfic off the laptop while snuggled down in bed (thank goodness for long modem cables). I still haven't found time to sit down with the latest chapters of Innocence. Soon, hopefully!

I don't even have a laptop, so your solution won't work for me. I have to sit at my desk to read. But that's not so bed, considering that lying down makes my cough worse.

As for Innocence, I'm afraid I've just posted a new chapter. But that shouldn't hinder you in a little R&R, if you feel like it. :))
