I've finished five (!) double pages for Baby Emma's journal and took new photos from some of the earlier ones, with hopefully better colours. Click on the individual pictures to enlarge.

This one I call the rainbow pocket page, for obvious reasons:

The "Good Night, Sleep Tight" page; again, fairly obvious:

The "Guten Abend, gute Nacht" page:

The Welcome page:

The "Der Sandmann ist da" page:

A new and hopefully better photo of the "Sweet Dreams" page:

The same page, with the flap open; I'll have to re-take this photo, too, for better colours. If done, I'll replace this pic with the new one:

The first double page with the birds; I might take a better photo later of this, too:

Oh, and the grandson of my beloved colleague has been born today. He's called Eric and weighed 4,200 grams at birth. He's the one for whom (or rather for whose Granny) I made this baby journal:

Mummy and baby are both fine and Granny is in seventh heaven, of course. ;)

These are such lovely pages, what a great project. Are you choosing to use English for a specific reason, or is it common practice for these types of baby books?

The paper pads have modules with English text on them. I thought it would be odd to use different languages, even though the lullabies are German ones.

And blessedly easy to make. I finished that one in a mere two days.

It is, isn't it? Good to see that young people still have the courage to set new life into this world.

It is funny, though, since she's considerably younger than I and looks a lot younger than she actually is. *g*

You are too kind. But I thank you nonetheless. :)
