My first attempt at a Raffaello bouquet

Or rather several aspects to consider:
1) I used two different sorts of wet glue and double-sided sticky tape because I didn't trust myself with the hot glue gun. Unfortunately, wet glue tends to soak through the crepe paper, which tends to tear then and to colour your fingers.
2) The pieces of crepe for the roses are supposed to be 10cm x 12 cm. I thought it would be a good idea to start with bigger pieces as those might make the wrapping easier. They don't; stick to the original measures, then your roses won't be as clumsy and misshapen as mine.
3) The bouquet shape is a bit tricky. I used a toiler roll for the handle, which I cut up lengthwise and rolled up much tighter. It served my purpose, but with the middle part made of a styrofoam ball with a diameter of 10 cm, it makes a rather small bouquet, for 9 or 10 Raffaello roses. I had only 8 Raffaellos for this purpose, so the bouquet ended up a bit too loose, but it still looks well enough.
4) The outside cover is made of white tulle. In my case it was practical because it stabilized a bit my somewhat wacky roses, but generally, it is too stiff. Your bouquet would look a lot prettier with muslin or organza.
So, I hope it helped, I'm looking forward to your version!
