A long-overdue gift

The third of the planned miniature chests of drawers, made of middle-sized matchboxes. I intended to make one to all three secretaries at school before retiring, but I couldn't. These matchboxes contain an ungodly amount of matches - can you imagine how long it takes for 6 of them to be emptied? But it's done now:



I didn't take a photo of the sides; I used a somewhat (=horribly) kitschy pale blue paper there, with winged pink, blue and golden unicorns among little clouds. But the colleague in question has a young daughter who'll probably love them, and I won't have to look at the paper anymore. *g*

That's the risk of buying card stock in pre-arranged packages; there are always a few that make your hackles rise.

I've come across some of that paper in my collection, too. Occasionally, I will use it for package stuffing.

Which is practical, but considering how expensive craft paper is I usually try to find another purpose for it.

I just hold onto the stuff I know can't be used for anything else and then stuff away! :D
