wiseheartHard to imagine that I'll only have to work one month after autumn break. Yay!
Today I've made the first step towards taking better care of my health: I went to the so-called salt hut on the next corner and got their flyer. Apparently, salt vapours are terribly good for the upper respiratory system; something I sorely need after 40 years in this education business. I want to keep singing in the choir for a long time yet. The prices are reasonable, and as a retired senior citizen I get to pay the lower ones, it is really about 20 metres from our house and seems to be a nice place. We'll see.
I've made some modest progress with the Dwobbit fic. I hope to finish the editing of Ch 13 tomorrow and move on to Ch 14. These are all rather rough drafts that will need quite some re-phrasing while I type them up, but I'm glad to have come this far at all.
Nothing else really happened today, which is nice. I like my peace and quiet. It gives me a vague idea what it would be like to be retired... if only my health and general peace would last. *fingers crossed*
