... and I've finished the mini sewing kits. All 20 of them. Boss Woman was impressed (or at least pretended to be, as her lady friend liked them). There will be pictures tomorrow as there isn't enough natural light for my iPad right now.

We also working on an alternate birthday party solution. It seems that October 19 would work for everyone but one person, so we'll do it on that Friday. Due to the upcoming national holiday we won't be teaching that day. Instead, the classes will visit some important sites connected to said national holiday or watch a film about the events. Which means I won't have to be at school at 10.00 already - probably just an hour or two later - so I can do some baking in the early morning, and the colleagues will be free earlier than usual. One of them offered to take the second part of my afternoon shift - since I did the same for her before - and she'll join us later. Thus, if everything goes according to the plan, we'll be able to have our party, after all. *fingers crossed*
