... and I celebrated that fact with spending money and being busy with housework.

In detail, I bought myself a motif puncher for little Christmas tree motifs - something I didn't really need but really wanted, plus I got it considerably cheaper in the Auchan supermarket than I'd have got in the craft shop. That's my excuse and I stick to it. *g*

I also tried my hand on making tomato soup - for the second time in my life. Mum says it's really good, and I quite like it myself, but I wasn't able to recreate the flavour it has in the school canteen... it's about the only thing save for porridge that is really good there. I guess if they make it in large quantities the results are different.

Furthermore, I baked a plum pie and an apricot-and-peach cheesecake - the latter is still in the oven. Needless to say that I'm fairly tired now, but it is a good exhaustion, as I have something to show for my tiredness, unlike after all that nothing at school.

*hugs* I'd say keep your eye on the prize, but I suspect that's what's making everything that much harder. Hold on!
