... and God were the last 5 tedious! I just don't have the patience for all the shit at school anymore!

That said, I know I'll be missing both the colleagues and the kiddies. But that's what choir singing is for. Right now, I'm celebrating each passing day specifically, which is kinda sad, as my colleague (retiring a whole month before me) likes to say. Because we are actually trying to speed up getting older, just to get out of the current situation.

I fear what little weight I managed to lose during summer would be gained back up awfully quickly. Some things you can only endure with the help of chocolate. Lots of it. *sigh*

You'll get there.... I've been working on the plans for retirement for some time now, it will probably be in the next 2-2andahalf years but I'm looking at having at least 9-10 months leave (annual and long service) which - as my boss knows and agrees with - I'm going to take and then formally retire on the last day of it...

I know I'm lucky. I'm just working on plans for when I do.... I may go back and do some uni study :)

I do. I have a measuring tape at school, from which I cut one centimetre a day and gift it upon one of the colleagues for luck. *g*
