wiseheart... but I'm having serious difficulties with getting back to work. My daily schedule has been turned upside down again and I just don't feel like doing it. Period.
My new kiddie group isn't that bad, actually. Much smaller than last year and the 5th term kids are quite nice - yet! I hope they won't completely lose their feeling of being intimidated by the fact that they are in upper primary now before I can retire. *g*
The weather keeps to be crazy, with rain showers several times a day, and then quite warm. We haven't had a leak since Sunday, let's hope it stays that way. *fingers crossed* This promises to be an extremely rainy September. *sigh*
I've planned out the concept of the Dwobbit story up to when they visit Beorn. I know I swore by my grandmother's motorbike (which she never had) that I'd never write a movieverse fic - which I still don't, but I have to admit that some of the movie dialogues actually fit an adult reader better than the rather childish ones in the book. So I'll swallow some of my words and adopt some movie lines. *is ashamed*
Currently, I'm making good headway with the mini sewing kits at school. The kids have fun with me sewing in their midst and some of them declared that they'd buy the little things on the charity fair. Well, we'll see. They also enjoy selecting buttons for me and stuff; perhaps they'll even get the inspiration to some crafting. If so, I won't have spent the last 3 months at school completely uselessly.
